I LOVE TO READ!
I've said it all in the title. I love how books take you to another place. Where you can create what the charcters and their surroundings look like. They can make you cry or laugh out loud. One of my favorite books is The Giver. I love how that book makes you think and opens up a whole other world and makes you think about life and roles and human nature and spirit. Another one of my favorites is A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks. I read it even before the movie was made and I don't think a book has ever made me cry so much up to that point. Books are a big escape for me. They are a crucial element in my life to help me relax. I'm always looking for a good book to read and I'm trying to broaden my horizons and read different types of books. I tend to read feel-good, comedy, romance kind of books. So I'm calling the help of all my blog readers. What is your favorite book? Or what book changed you in some way? Whether it inspired you to try a new hobby or helped you see things in a different way. If you would like to recommend a feel good, comedy, romance kind of book I'm open to those suggestions too because I'm never going to stop reading those. I would love any input and suggestions. Thanks a bunch!

This is so cheesy...but I'm totally a sucker for the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series...that's right, ALL 4 OF THEM! Love them.
Also, love The Secret Life of Bees...have you read that one?
Kristen,
I LOVE YOUR BLOG!! You are just an uplifting person in general so it is perfectly understandable why you would choose those types of books :) I am reading Broken Things to Mend by Elder Holland it is EXCELLENT! It is a feel good book but at the same time it is a I need to be a little better in this aspect book too I would highly reccomend it. He is my favorite though so maybe I am partial but it is great.
Side not YOUR KIDS ARE BEAUTIFUL I love their pics what a great Mom you are! I hope things are so good for you! I just added you to our blog so I can check out your happenings more often hope thats ok!
HAPPEE READING!
I share your passion for reading. There is nothing like a good book. I think it drives Riley crazy sometimes cause I would rather read than watch TV after Hud is in bed. I am a huge fan of Mary Higgins Clark. Also, I read The Last Lecture of few months ago--it is very good. Try the Alchemist, takes a little bit to get into it, but it really makes you think.
The Giver is my all time favorite book as well. I have loved it ever since I read it in 8th grade for Mrs. Kidds class. A fantastic book is the Secret Journal of Brett Colton by Kay Lynn Mangum. Also if you can handle a little language, My Sister Keeper by Jodi Picoult is fabulous. Happy Reading. :)
I have loved every Shannon Hale book I've read! They are probably geared toward young adult, but they are fabulous books. Princess Academy, The Goose Girl (my fave), Enna Burning, River Secrets, Austenland & Book of a Thousand Days. All great books!!
