The Whole Dam-Fam

I started thinking that I post a lot of pictures of my own kids but haven't yet done many of my whole family. I seriously have the best family in the whole world. We always have a good time when we get together. This picture above was taken two Christmases ago. We're all there except for Wade.
Since Wade isn't in any recent pictures here's one from his mission. If you know Wade you will find this picture hilarious. And he just got home today which seemed to take forever to happen. I'm so happy that he's back!

This good looking pair is my parents. I've been told many times through out my life that I look just like my dad and I'm very proud of that. They're the best and have set such good examples to me as parents and what a good marriage should be.
This foxy lady is my Grandma Gregory. I was so lucky to grow up so close to her and my grandpa. I always wanted to spend time with my grandma and I was her little shadow. They are both strong people and genuine and good.
This is my Grandma and Grandpa Hirschi. They are some of the most amazing people I know. My grandma is such the caretaker and is always trying to get you to eat or always making sure that you're comfortable in the chair you're sitting in and is so willing to do anything to help someone. My grandpa is just the rock of our family and after all these years he still can do an amazing Tarzan call.
There are so many other people that make up my family. I was so fortunate to grow up so close to most of my family. I have many aunts, uncles, and cousins that have helped me through out my life and provided many life long memories. These families are the Hansens for all the grandma sleepovers, the Trapps for teaching me how to ride, the Bucks for all the Genellies moments, the Val Hirschi family and the babysitting nights (I can't believe your parents trusted me) and girl talks, the Reids and the precious times we get to spend with you when you visit, the Smiths for building your house and being able to have all the families live there and create memories and the Christensens for being there for me and helping me out in times of need. I wonder how I've been so lucky with the amazing family that I have. I love you guys!

I completely agree! We do have an amazing family. Now being away from home and missing everyone, makes me realize the fact even more so. Grandma & grandpa are incredible people. Josh and I talk about them ALL the time. We always say that we want to be just like them. That picture of them is so cute, I had to copy it...hope you don't mind. I actually talked to grandma yesterday and she said everyone was getting together for Wade's homecoming. It's times like these I wish I was at home. I hate missing out. Will you take lots of pictures for your blog, so I feel like I was there? Will you give my family hugs for me? I miss 'em. In fact maybe you could blow up a life-size picture of me and carry it around with you...then I would really feel included! JK. haha. I really can't believe Wade is home. That flew by for me...but i'm sure it didn't for your family. How exciting to be all together again! I will be thinking of all of you tomorrow. I hope you have a good time.
p.s. Some of my favorite childhood memories are with my cousins. We had so much fun together. You were my favorite babysitter too...by far! :)

Amen, I would also agree. Kristin, thanks for your sweet message. I am so excited to be a mom and hope that I am as good at it as you are. I really loved seeing you at Christmas. Like Britney, I wish I wasn't so far away...but I guess this is the next best thing. Your kids are so cute and I love your pictures. Tell you family hello...love you.

Family is great! We really need to get together more since we are fairly close--even if we meet in Centerville. Hud would love playing with your kids.
I have a question about a little outdoor, bassinet thing with netting you used when your kids were little. I have been trying to find one everywhere and can't. I think you borrowed it from Kate--do you have a brand name or anything that will help in my search? Just wonderin! Hope to see you guys soon.

Thanks for the info. I remember thinking how handy one would be when I saw yours. My neighbor actually found one for me in a store in Logan--it's going to be great for summer. Maybe we could get together next week. I am free all day Mon and Friday or anytime after 3 pm on Tues, Wed, or Thurs. Let me know!
